At Namangan State University, the territorial stage of the “Tomiris Followers” sports competition among female students of higher education institutions was conducted at a high organizational level and in an uplifting atmosphere.
The competition was organized with the aim of enhancing the physical capacity of female students, increasing their interest in sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and developing teamwork, agility, and quick decision-making skills.
The event was jointly organized by the Department for Work with Women and the Faculty of Sports and Arts of Namangan State University. Teams that won the qualifying stage from the following institutions participated: Namangan State University, Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, Namangan State Technical University, and Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages.
According to the program, the participating teams competed in the following categories: “Team Presentation,” “We Are in Harmony with Sports,” “First Aid,” and “Cycling.”
During the competition, the participants demonstrated their physical fitness, practical skills, teamwork, agility, and responsiveness. In particular, the first aid and practical sports tasks clearly reflected the level of preparedness of the participants.
Following intense and competitive rounds, the jury announced the results:
1st place — Namangan State University
2nd place — Namangan State Technical University
3rd place — Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages
The results of the competition showed that the female students possess not only athletic abilities but also essential life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
Overall, the regional stage of the “Tomiris Followers” competition played an important role in fostering a healthy competitive environment among female students, encouraging them to lead active lifestyles, and strengthening friendly relations among higher education institutions.
